Turning Donations Into Education
Good Better Best Shop is run by volunteers who collect donations from community members to raise money to support educational efforts in Branch County. We believe the best way to better a community is through education. Since opening June 4, 2020, GBB volunteers have given back over $395,00 in grants and scholarships to Branch County students, teachers, schools and organization. Good Better Best Shop takes the discarded and gives it purpose.
Good Better Best Shop began with a simple vision: collect donations, sell them affordably, and give the proceeds back to education. What started with $100 has grown into nearly $400,000 in grants and scholarships.
Our Story
What began with a teacher’s $100 bill has grown into a thriving nonprofit thrift shop with a mission: turn community donations into funding for education.
In 2019, a small group of volunteers dreamed big, hosted a garage sale, and raised $1,400. Just a year later, Good Better Best Shop opened its doors—and the vision became a reality.
Today, donations from the community, loyal shoppers, and dedicated volunteers allow us to grant thousands of dollars every cycle to support Branch County’s students and teachers.
